The International University College of Technology Twintech (IUCTT), which was formerly known as L & G Twintech Institute of Technology is a private institute of higher learning licensed by the Ministry of Education. Universiti Teknologi Malaysia or UTM was established on 14 March 1972 with the name Institut Teknologi Kebangsaan. On 01 April 1975, its name was changed to Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
